I always said, “I don’t do politics” because I was clueless about “politics”. I didn’t care about politics. I lived in America, the land of the free, why should I care?
I was pretty liberal when I was younger, so I was told I was a democrat (I didn’t care enough to find out for myself). However, as I got older and I became a Christian my values changed but I still thought I was a democrat (because I was clueless), until I educated myself (at the age of forty-two), during the 2016 Presidential Election, because I was going to vote, again.
The first time I voted I voted for Barack Obama, his first run (as did my husband). I voted for Obama because everyone else was supporting him. That election would be historical because it would be our first “Black” president, and I started to care about participating in things that matter. I did not know what his policies where, nor did I really care, Oprah supported him so he couldn’t be bad.
So I thought…
As the years past Barack showed his true colors… supporting gay marriage and abandoning Israel just to name a couple of things. I believe we were deceived with Barack Obama with his skin color and we were almost deceived with Hillary because she’s a female and people wanted a female president.
Being a Christian now, I watch TBN all the time and all the pastors/preachers said vote for life. So I started doing my research and educating myself… I definitely am not a democrat.
I am pro-life.
